First Responders, in relationship to ambulances is unique to Emergency Medical Services at the Milwaukee Fire Department. Unlike law enforcement, they are the first ones to arrive at the scene. One of the first things EMS knew they had to do during this era of COVID-19 is provide respiratory protection to their team so they can continue to help people in need of medical services. But what if they encounter someone that requires CPR? How do they protect themselves from getting sick?
